I can't believe that I haven't written about Jamie's ItalyThe recipes are wonderful and even better than that are Jamie's commentaries - sharing conversations with locals (you really do feel like you're there), and educating us about which food is grown where and how each district has their own take on "the only way" to prepare dishes.

Did I mention the snapshots of Jamie on his journey? No?...well they're wonderful too. Jamie takes us through Italy - top to bottom and the recipes are from antipasti (starters) to dolci (dessert).
I'd say this is my favorite book, but then so are Jamie's Dinners and Cook with Jamie. Which one is yours?
